Every valid line produces two filled areas. Cutle compares their shares, doubles the smaller one, and reports the result out of 100.

Why a perfect line exists

100%Move a line of any fixed angle from one side of a filled shape to the other. The area on one side changes continuously from none to all, so it passes through 50% somewhere. Different angles can produce different perfect lines.
